Pineapple Quartz got its name because of the little miniature spike crystals that grow out all around it.  It is also referred to as candle quartz because of its milky resemblance to a melting candle.

Light accents of pinky-orange means there is some iron. Not quite like a tangerine or hematite quartz, which only means it's even more unique.
